Nintendo was speaking to investors today. Now they allow uploading games on SD cards. Finally.
They also revealed the new Zelda game.
The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks DS
Link has the ability to control/create enemies and make them fight enemies. Railroad mechanic is an extension of Phantom Hourglass boat system -- riding a rail and shooting cannons. Very Phantom Hourglass like, but hopefully with new and fresh ideas. The new weapons and skills look like a good start, but Link looks kind of odd in his little conductor's outfit.
New Zelda looks better than my description probably makes it sound. Looks like a fairly traditional Zelda portable game, with puzzle dungeons and Phantom Hourglass-style touch mechanics. The train basically works like the boat in PH, running along the overworld (presumably on a rail defined by players). Enemy control mechanics look pretty nice -- link distracted a big Zora with a controlled shadow guard, then snuck around to hit it from behind.

Why did no one tell me that finally put this show on the air?! Making Fiends is a great kids show. They hardly changed anything from the original web series thankfully.

Speaking of effeminate men, I'm way over-leveled in Chain of Memories. I have to use a card every time I go through the door for some reason. I can't help it! I decided that I won't use those 3-card tricks until the game caught up with me.
I read about half of The Tales of Beetle the Bard and it's really good. I would recommend picking it up. It's for charity too. |

Yeah, it's not the reason why I call it the "crap mall" but that is pretty crappy too. No wonder it's so boring in there right now. The mall is five minutes from my house. I don't like Twilight or that mall but I love trainwrecks and taking pictures of them. (Of course I have no way of uploading the pics at the moment because sis gave me her old camera with everything but the cord.) I drive by the mall after going to Borders and notice the parking lot is rather empty for it being almost 1PM. I go into the mall and see only about 50 fangirls in front of the Hot Topic. Then I walk over to Macy's where there's a stage setup and there was double the squealing fans over there. I took some pics of that too. So disappointed. At least I found that Bleach SOULS character book. |

Galaxy Man, Concrete Man, and Magma Man are down. Jewel Man's stage is still made of pure evil. Hate... I love to hate it though. It's so much fun. Speaking of death... I would have probably died more defeated more Robot Masters today but I picked up Hellsing OVA 4. I can't wait for more, I love this series. I can listen to Crispin's creepy insane laughing all day.
Nintendo has created a video game ad that breaks youtube.
If you are a Phoenix Wright fan in need of a laugh, Phoenix Wright: The Musical! will be opening February in Japan.
The musical will take place in the states, and all the localized names will be used. On top of that, there will be a love story introduced that hasn’t been played out in the game series. To make things even more interesting, the entire cast of characters will be played by females!

These are just a few of the many ways I have died and will die playing this game. I beat Galaxy Man and now dying 8 billion times on Jewel Man's stage. Galaxy Man's stage was a joke compared to this one. DAMN YOU, SPIKES!

I couldn't have picked a better day to request off. It was so worth it.
I can't wait to start playing Megaman 9 on Monday. I hear it's Nintendo Hard. That's good because then I'll be kept busy for awhile.
There's a rumor that Squeenix will be bring FFIV: The After over and I approve just because I love the artist. He made Cecil and Edward look like men and not sickly women. Squeenix should use that art style more often. For that alone, I will buy it if it comes over on Wiiware. *crosses fingers* |

You gotta love Capcom's Mega Man 9 press kit right down to the bargain bin sticker.
Nintendo is having a press conference on Oct. 2nd. It doesn't matter if there are major announcements or disappointments, it's going to be fun watching the fanboys go nuts.
Strong Bad Episode 2 for WiiWare is even funnier than the first. Heck, it's worth the $10 just for all the stuff you get to set on fire. I also liked the Battle Royale nod. |

This is a FAIL character design, Squeenix! Yes, yes, you are known for belts and zippers but this guy just looks dumb. You better have not made this character with a straight face. I mean, a BELT SWORD!
The only way this design would not fail is if the character's name is Beltan and he has a girlfriend with 3 dozen zippers named Zippana. |

I like HP wank. No, I love HP wank. I'm also a bad HP fan because I never realized that the movie was supposed to come out this year.
Oh yes! Why didn't anyone tell me that Half-Life: Full-life Consequences had Part 2 out finally? These just brighten up my day no matter how sucky it was.
Oh, soccer moms. MadWorld isn't the first bloody game on the Wii. *snicker*

Strong Bad's episode 1 Wiiware game that came out today is getting mostly great reviews! (Basically the only negative review I've seen was from a non-fan so I guess that tells you something.) I guess the month delay was worth it because I wasn't expecting it would get that much praise from everyone. I only played the tutorial and a little bit of the game so far because it took me several tries to kill off all the Teen Girl Squad. I don't know about that one reviewer but I didn't feel like I wasted money yet.
I was watching some Hellsing OVA 4 dub clips from Otakon on youtube. I can't wait for the DVD. I can barely hear anything but I love hearing nerdy fan reactions going nuts over everything. Schro, you wise-ass little shit. |

Today is probably the first time I bought a purse that wasn't on the clearance rack. It was too cute and just the right size so I couldn't leave it there. It wasn't that expensive, thankfully.
Just when I think nothing in Claymore can phase me anymore, I peek at chapter 82. Thanks, I haven't used brain bleach in awhile!
This season of Venture Bros just keeps getting better with each episode. I'm sort of worried that season 4 won't compare.
I love this AMV so much.

And I went to Mitsuwa today. This day just gets better and better.
So during the midnight showing of Dark Knight, the film burns up three minutes before the ending so we scored re-admittance tickets. Yesterday, I use those free tickets to see it again with Larissa... only to have someone pull the fire alarm during the boat scene and I got re-admittance tickets again. We are trying again on Friday. I might have a cursed movie now. FFVII is my cursed video game. Stupid Sephiroth. |

Tomorrow night I'll be spending it cleaning up for when Larissa gets in. This is going to be a very interesting week coming up.
The Twilight fandom is doing their best to out-wank the Harry Potter fandom. Just look at that poor guy!
The second Death Note special was announced. Keep milking it.
Still going along playing Sir Cecil the Hypocrite and His Merry Band of Idiots game. I love the game but yeah... complete morons. Just like how I wanted a "Smack Cloud" option in FFVII, I want a "Smack Cecil" one in here. |
